CHICKS ON THE FARM

Utilizing a strength-based, experiential approach, this group works to build positive life skills, improving youth’s ability to navigate social media and other social situations, enhance confidence, and create healthy boundaries. Nature art, tree houses, yoga, mindfulness, character building, gardening, and donkey grooming are some of the farm activities that will empower emotional resilience and encourage values for life.”

YOUTH YOGA & MINDFULNESS

Yoga and mindfulness are an important component of our wellness offerings for youth. Evidence of yoga’s benefits include improved physical fitness, better emotional balance, improved resilience, mood, and self-regulation skills related to emotions and stress.

Research in neuroscience has linked a regular practice of mindfulness to numerous benefits for youth including reduced stress and anxiety, improved grades and performance on standardized tests, and increased attention and concentration.
