KINDRED SPIRITS EQUINE INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCE

Are you feeling disconnected, lacking clarity, or missing a sense of calm presence in your life? Or…maybe you would just love to get out of the house and into nature to experience the beautiful feeling of interacting with our equines. Equine are deeply feeling creatures. Studies show that just being near a horse can slow the heart rate, calm the senses, and bring your awareness to the present moment. In this state of presence, your heart’s wisdom and intuition can be discovered. Our equine experience includes mindful practices, trust-building, bonding, grooming, basic groundwork, and learning the language of the horse. No riding involved and no prior horse experience necessary.

Horses teach us acceptance, kindness, patience, honesty, compassion, and forgiveness. They have an amazing ability to mirror our inner world and connect us to the truest and most beautiful parts of ourselves.

TAI CHI FOR BALANCE WORKSHOPS
The slow and gentle movements of Tai Chi address the key components of physical as well as mental wellness – increased muscle strength, flexibility, balance, mobility, longevity, functionality, and quality of life. The mental health benefits include decreased stress, anxiety, depression and mood disturbance, and increased self-esteem.
This class offers the additional immune-boosting benefits of being in nature and will be held outdoors as long as weather permits.

Our mission at Living Fulfilled Farms is to offer nature-based programs that encourage physical activity, interaction with peers, good stewardship of nature, compassion through caring for animals, and that support emotional awareness and positivity.

LIVING EMPOWERED FOR GIRLS
Is your daughter feeling anxious about going back to school? Missing the support and connection of friends? Or just ready for a new outdoor and fun experience? We’ve created a transformative program for girls ages 11-13 that will include yoga, mindfulness in nature, interacting with animals, bonding with new friends, journaling, crafting, and learning about the language of the horse through our Kindred Spirits Equine Interactive Experience. Your daughter will also get to learn about coping skills, positive body image, self-talk, creating healthy boundaries, and more.
Start Date: Monday, September 14, 2020
Duration: 5 weeks (every Monday)
Time:  3:45 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.

HIGH SCHOOL PREP WORKSHOP
Transitioning from middle school to high school requires a big leap both socially and emotionally. This preparatory workshop, held at Living Fulfilled Farms, in an interactive and enjoyable atmosphere, will provide real life-skills to properly equip your incoming freshman to handle the challenges that she will meet on a daily basis. She’ll walk away with practical tools and the confidence to set appropriate boundaries, address bullying, learn social media awareness, manage peer pressure, and create healthy relationships. She’ll find new friendships & a support system already in place for her first day.
